2027 Sections of Competition

At Prestige Pageants Australia, our competition is designed to celebrate confidence, authenticity, professionalism, and purpose. Every section allows delegates to showcase a different aspect of who they are, ensuring that success is built on much more than appearance alone. Prestige Pageants Australia looks for well-rounded ambassadors who are ready to represent Australia on the International Stage across the globe!

Evening Gown (20%)

Grace. Elegance. Presence.

The Evening Gown competition celebrates poise, sophistication, and confidence. Delegates will take to the stage in an evening gown of their choice, demonstrating elegant movement, posture, stage awareness, and the ability to captivate an audience. Judges are looking for contestants who wear their gown with confidence and authenticity, creating a memorable stage presence while showcasing their individual style.

Interview (20%)

Your voice is your greatest asset.

The Interview competition gives delegates the opportunity to share their personality, ambitions, values, and life experiences in a professional setting. This section focuses on communication skills, confidence, authenticity, and the ability to think thoughtfully under pressure. Judges are looking for genuine conversations, strong character, and contestants who can confidently represent the Prestige Pageants Australia title both on and off the stage.

Runway Model (20%)

Own the runway.

The Runway Model competition is all about confidence, energy, and commanding the stage. Delegates will demonstrate their runway technique, posture, transitions, and overall presence while showcasing their individual style. Whether you’re an experienced model or stepping onto the runway for the first time, judges are looking for confidence, personality, and the ability to engage an audience with every step.

Personal Introduction Video (10%)

Tell your story. Inspire others.

Your Personal Introduction Video is your opportunity to introduce yourself beyond the stage. Share who you are, your passions, your community impact, achievements, goals, and what makes your journey unique. Creativity, authenticity, confidence, and storytelling are encouraged, allowing judges to connect with you on a personal level before competition weekend even begins. The judges are looking for someone who truly embodies the ethos, "Prestige Queen, Prestige Impact".

Social Media (10%)

Use your platform with purpose.

In today’s world, titleholders inspire both on stage and online. The Social Media competition recognises delegates who create engaging, positive, and authentic content while representing the values of Prestige Pageants Australia both in the lead up and during the competition. Judges will consider consistency, creativity, professionalism, audience engagement, and the ability to use social media to make a meaningful impact. This section prepares contestants for the responsibility of social media requirements throughout their reign and the ability to work with brands and sponsors across the globe.

Photogenic (10%)

A picture tells a story.

The Photogenic competition recognises delegates who naturally connect with the camera. Judges are looking beyond beauty alone—they seek personality, confidence, expression, and the ability to create an image that captures attention and leaves a lasting impression. This section celebrates those who can communicate emotion and confidence through a single photograph and the ability to set up, create and capture a titleholder worthy image!

This section is made up of two parts, half the score is dedicated to the headshot submitted by contestants (5%) and the other half is a score from the Prestige Pageants Australia official photographer on overall ease to work with, professionalism and final images created at the 2027 National Finals. Leadership, Initiative and Timeliness (10%)

Character is what truly sets a queen apart.

This section recognises delegates who consistently demonstrate professionalism, kindness, leadership, respect, and a positive attitude throughout the competition. Judges will observe how contestants conduct themselves, interact with fellow delegates, volunteers, sponsors, and staff. This includes submitting paperwork by deadlines, attending online meetings as well as their willingness to show initiative, support others, and embody the values of Prestige Pageants Australia. Great titleholders lead by example, both on and off the stage.
